The Silent Whisper -3
But then all the classes went smoothly. And for the first time in my life I was not scolded by any teacher. Then the sweetest bell rang. The bell which tells us that we are now free from the heavy duties of this school. The bell which indicated our freedom. I think I am the first one to leave the classroom.
Outside of the school premises, I am now waiting for my friends. Which included friends from other sections, from other classes and some were even not from my school. And I am very proud of my distinguished fame.
All the students were coming out of the school door like some prisoners are given freedom for few hours. In the crowd I can also see some smiling faces, all red from the blazing afternoon. A horde is visible on the opposite side of the door. It must be the juice seller. I am also feeling very thirsty. But I am not having any money to buy juice. I think I will only drink water. Or I can ask one of my friend to buy it and then I will have a sip.

Wait! Where is my water-bottle? I must have left it in the classroom. I should hurry back otherwise the guards won’t let me in. Moreover if the bottle will be stolen then my maa will definitely kill me.
Guard – Where are you going?

Uncle I left my bottle in the classroom.

Guard- come back in less than 5 minutes and don’t do any mischief. Got it?

Yes, yes. I know. Can I go in now?

Guard- alright.
Huh. Why these guards thinks that they are the chairperson of this school. Always scolding like I had done something very bad and it affected them. Except the ink prank and when I fought outside with other goons, and during the exam when I entered the school before timings and made them run after me. I mean, I was just playing with them nothing else.
Ugh. These stairs. I am going to hate them. Again I have to go to the second floor. I cannot even leave my bag on the ground floor. What if someone mistook it for a lost and found case?

Just few more and then I am done. It’s super quite on our floor. Wait no. I can hear some giggling. Is it coming from my class? I think yes. Who it might be? It’s a voice of a girl.
Heena? All the girls startled after I suddenly entered the room. There were bunch of girls sitting near the blackboard. One of them was scribbling something on the board.

AANIHA THE DUMB DUMB DEFO

Woah! That was expected. This is what these girls do whenever they feel like they need attention. They will just group together and will bitch about the same person they all feel annoyed with.
Yo! I greeted all of them again. They laughed and waved me back. I looked for my bottle near my desk. It is nowhere to be seen. An image of my mother scolding me passed through my eyes. A shrivel travels through my whole body.

Heena- What are you looking for Avi?

I think I lost my water-bottle.
Heena- Oh that blue colored bottle is yours?

You have seen it?

Heena- obviously. I thought that someone must have forgotten it so I put it in the cupboard.

Thank god. But why are you staying late in the school?

Heena- just girls stuff. You can take your bottle and go.

All girls laughed at this. I mean was there any joke to laugh at.
I walked towards the board and on the left side of the board a rusty iron cupboard is resting. Still unlocked. I picked my bottle out of it. And suddenly all the girls went silent. I turned around to see what has happened.

Finally an action. After the whole day I will be seeing some action.

Aaniha is standing near the classroom’s door. Looking at all of us with her weird smile. I am still waiting eagerly for an action. But suddenly Heena stood up and cried, which stupid person has written rubbish about our sweet friend. I will definitely not forgive that person. Was it you Ayush? Because we all know how mischievous you can be.
I looked at Heena and took the duster. Rubbed all the scribbling. And then patted that dirty side of the duster with my one hand near Heena’s face. Haha, her face, it’s all white because of the chalk powder. I can see all the girls trying to hide their laughs. Except Aaniha. She is just standing there, still staring at us, with no hint of emotions. I didn’t even bothered to ask why she was there, I just left.

Few weeks passed. And during these passing days, I noticed one thing. Girls badmouthing towards Aahina increased. They were not even showing sympathy towards her. And the ones who wanted to show didn’t because they were afraid of the popular girls. And they were not brave enough to go against them.
One day, during the lunchtime, my friends asked me to play the game of truth and dare. I said yes. I was willing and bored. For playing the game they all formed the group. And I must say almost half of the class was there to play. So the circle we formed was very big. Hitesh is the one who took the responsibility of spinning the empty bottle. Whose bottle is this? I thought. It looked very expensive. Whatever.
Finally, the end of the bottle is pointing at me. I chose dare. Rashmi, who is sitting on my opposite side give me the dare. She said-

Tiptoe towards Aaniha and pull her ear machine out without asking her.

Well this is an easy one. I got up without thinking. Walked towards Aaniha. She is sitting in the first row from the classroom’s door, on the first school desk, communicating through scribble with Aman. She is facing the blackboard, so her back is towards the class, towards me. My task got much more easy-breezy. I stood behind her, gesturing Aman to keep quiet. As soon as Aaniha looked towards Aman, I snatched Aaniha’s earpiece. And haughtily I showed it to my friends, grinning as wild as I could. We all starting to adore the moment, suddenly I heard a shriek. It was Aman. I turned around to look at him. He was gawping at Aaniha, who is sitting facing downward.
