Angel On Street Corner
If I knew your wheels would slow down
I would have not dropped my crown
all over this beat. So as I was on the streets singing. People was crowding around my singing and they throw money at my flip flops as I told them
the tale of my locks. Which never stop
for you see he was the man that had seen me in a broadway production
that had me and my mind out on it every night. An the people came and saw my killing it every night. Smiles and roses was my life. Until The pandemic hit then the lights wents out and then my flare was shut down. By something I
could not forsee. Oh then I had to act in the day on the streets. An make my way to my own beats. Oh I was out early most days an people saw me. An I just carryed on. Even trucks was riding as I was over top of there bridges I was moving as if I was one trucking to my own song. Oh in the morning it was coffee or slushy s An a hotdog at 7/11
in a county I did not know until
I journeyed to the college library which would take your state id down so I could get computer time back in the day. To take care of online business
as to turn in forms or papers to different places. Oh and video games was always in the background. Then one day the college library had a sale
and I bought an old copy of a movie I had not seen in years. So I went to the front desk and asked for a vhs TV headphones combo. An I watched that movie and was like this great right here.
Then my time was up at the library I saw my old college boss. An tryed to interview for a food position. But He Said they bringing in vendors and we don't need staff no more kid. It's all
individual bosses now. An they work it like policing there own staff kid. But
you do got alot of charm and one day
you will get back on your feet again I just know it. So don't let this little situation get you down. There are many bright lights at the tunnel. So I bought a sub from the vendor Subway and it was good food to. So I could not complain.
An while I was out there I was eating the food they had a chicken vendor a sushi vendor a dessert vendor oh you name it they had it. But you know out there on the rode they had an icy truck and it sold popcicles and milkshakes.
But it didn't fly pass every neighborhood only by the college and
hospital at in that area where I was.
Then I was doing art on the side of everything to work threw my pain of this or that. So I am thankful for what I have and being alive wide eyed people would say. Oh She always makes my day
ok.😇
