The setting was perfect. Candlelight, polished cutlery and a single rose set in a delicate vase at each table. As usual, the ritual began guests were called sharp at 9. Cooks were asked to prepare a particular delicacy. The room smelled more like a bouquet of flowers. The guests came as instructed and wore their family badge the one which they get after every ritual; without it, nobody can enter or either participate in the ritual. This ritual first came into by Wrendson family. Soon after all guests arrived maids were asked to serve only water and a flower which every guest must have with them at every time. There was this new family that came outsider they were called since they didn't have any badges or any recognition whatsoever. Soon guests were called to sit at their place, and maids were asked to switch off the light they were only lamps and candles which were lighted. Since the new family had joined and it was their first ritual, so they were asked to participate first. Brandon was their chosen one he was asked to choose the animal their family would eat and the weapon of their choice Brandon chose deer and a revolver which had only two bullets. Then came all the other guests since they all had Badges they were allowed to have two weapons of their choice. A bell rang, and Wrendson junior announced that "feast shall begin" everyone had their choice of the meal. Then they all were asked to take their weapons out and prepare for the ritual
every time it is something new this time around they announced they were going to do somewhat unique. Brandon asked his father "Why did we come here it's so weird and creepy".
Don't you know how hard he tried to be a part of something like this they all are compelling people Christina said?
Brandon -then why did you ask me to come. Suddenly ( a voice came from behind Shuhhh!)
When Wrendson was about to Start "THE HUNT"(one of the maids rushed behind and whispered in his ear) Wrendson Stopped and he said we will be back in a while till then enjoy yourselves. Brandon- why haven't they started anything yet I can't be stuck here forever I had my plans.
Richard (Brandon's Father)- Son, nothing could be more important than this, and you should be proud of yourselves now you are a part of this family you should talk to other kids I'm sure you will make good friends here.
Brandon-But I don't want to!
(Meanwhile)
Wrendson (rushed to the kitchen)-What the hell is going on here. What happened to this cook did he die?
How (he asked)
(One of the Maid)- Sir he...
Wrendson- what are you fumbling about say it out aloud Call the cleaner and dump his body far away from the estate Make sure you (pointing at one of his bodyguards) don't ruin my yard and clean this mess will you!
Bodyguard 1- Yes, Sir!
Wrendon- How did he die?
(A shadow appeared ) Guests are waiting Sir.
Meanwhile
some guests were talking "what happened back there " "that never happened before", we are getting late, he knows that!
Maid announced -( Guests are advised to not talk loud)
Wrendson- " The Hunt" begins!
All guests stood up and sang the prayer.
Now for the big announcement
this time you get to hunt the thing you envy most.
Hunt shall be accepted only if it performed from the choice of weapon.
Is this what we have been doing here asked the Brandon and he furiously took his weapon out and shot the dead animal carcass and himself.
all guests hailed their head down and said "The hunt is Complete"
( back in the seat both parents of Brandon were shocked and their hands were red in blood they stared at each other meanwhile the wrendson came from behind and said you earned the loyal badge.
