The Value of Life
LIFE is not always perfect. It has all its ups and downs. We make mistakes and struggle to find our resolve as well. We can experience the fulfillment of winning and the bitterness of loosing at the same time. "Quitters never win, winners never quit," they say. But does this really apply to every situation? What do you think?
There's a reason for every decision that we make, and all decisions have consequences in the end. Good or bad, we have to learn how to accept it. We must know the importance of trust and faith in our lives as well. Acceptance... Trust... Faith... These are all needed in our lives. Let me tell you why.
ACCEPTANCE --- one of the important aspects in life that we have to apply and practice is this. Learn to accept the reality, learn to accept imperfections, learn to say NO when it is needed and learn how to accept all mistakes and failures you have gone through. Treat your mistakes as great lessons you can learn from and build a stronger version of you. Think of your failures as a reason for you to be more determined.
The thing is, once we tasted the bitterness of a failure, we start to think that everything will go wrong. We are assuming that nothing will go right, keeping in mind that life is so difficult. Yes, it is really difficult, but if we have the courage to pursue all our expectations and consistently set goals on a daily basis, then nothing is said to be difficult. We just need to learn how to TRUST ourselves more often. Life is a marathon. Perseverance is the name of the game.
TRUST --- the second aspect in life that needs to be improved. If you don't have enough trust and confidence with your own capability, then how will you be able to build up trust with other people? Be positive and remember that not every obstacle has the potential to hurt you. It's all about how you see the situation and react against it. Everything will be fine, I'm sure it will. Soon, just keep the spirit on.
As our fears start to fill in our hearts, we start to lose our confidence. We start to freak out. We fall in deep thoughts asking questions like, "What to do?"... "What went wrong?"... "How will I be able to get through this?" Come on guys! We must have already prepared ourselves with all the possibilities in life that can either make us feel better or make everything worse. The person you become while chasing your goals, can be an unseen benefit you retain for the future. Cheer up! Have FAITH!
Yes, that's right. FAITH --- Do I still have to explain what the purpose of faith in our lives is? Needless to say, I think everyone already knows. A trusted friend of mine once said, ''Men have always believed in a supernatural being higher than them. One that created things that they cannot and could never recreate. At times wherein we do not have a clear understanding of what is going on, what is going to happen, and what lies beneath, Faith is the only thing that can keep us going. Imagine yourself walking in a dark blind spot, you would never know what lies before you until you put your best foot forward and let God lead the way. Faith is the small voice that whispers "You can do it!" or "I am here with you" every time you are in doubt. Faith is what keeps us going every time and anytime we feel lost. As you reinforce your mindset with positivity and strong faith, your sense of self, will soon start to change for the better along the way.
"An object in motion stays in motion. An object at rest stays at rest." If you truly value your life, then it's time for you to start contemplating. Remember your purpose and take note of what I have mentioned above. Don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back every so often. It's really important, especially amidst this pandemic we are facing. Life is a process, make the most of it.
