I had never imagined we would turn to this.
We were so into each other, it almost felt like a happy ending. We were just the perfect kind of partner and our kind of bond was so many's goal at that time.
Then what happened to us now? or were we always this way and that it was a mere infatuation that faded with time, the neurochemical reactions reduced as we became an everyday thing, our brains stopped experiencing any excitement in seeing or listening to each other and now we are sitting together, with empty promises and defeaning silences....gradually widening the void between us.
