Behind her smile.... Part 2...Aim
Aim was all that I wanted and wished in a man,He was five and eight feet tall, lean and the guy you would recognize easily from the crowd because of his obsidian complexion.Sometimes I looked back and wondered why he had chosen me among all the beautiful queens in the school because I was quiet and kept a very small circle unlike him who was a true extrovert.

I used to send him mails and small text message through my Whatsapp application, most of the time the mails went unreplied,a situation which left me so worried of his welfare. He left to Somalia when I was only two months pregnant with our son in the line of duty to fight the terror group of the renowned Alshabab as he had been commanded as a military.

One early Christmas eve morning my door bell rang,I was not expecting any visitor that day but I dragged myself from my bed, held my son in my arms,he was now seven months old and could demonstrate all the milestone so well and opened the door.

Aim was standing at the door holding a banquet of crimson red roses.I wish the world would send witnesses to the spectucila moment of a love so naked with elexir kisses which swished through the air.Holding aim in my arms was like a dream come true,I had really missed him and had been praying for him to come back home safely.

I expected Aim to have really changed because of the hardship he had to endure in the battlefield but he was still healthy, had become more masculine and handsome more than before. As he held his son warmly in his chest,I got a chance to swing my hands freely with excitement.I felt home again after a very long time.

Aim allowed me to be home with my family and choose to remain with his son during the Christmas season.I got a chance to rest and united with my family after a very long time and my love for Aim grew even more strong with each passing moment. The burden of having to raise our son alone was replaced by sweet memories of us giving him all the love and care he wanted.
