Once upon a time in a small, sleepy town called Willow Creek, there lived a boy named Jamie. Jamie was twelve years old and often felt like he was all alone. He lived with his grandmother, who was kind but busy with her sewing and gardening. Jamie longed for friends to play with, but for some reason, none of the other kids wanted to spend time with him.
