Dear diary,
I am sorry I didn’t complete what I was saying………..
Okay so……………. After a moment of shock, Kai realized who I was.
‘What are you doing here?’ he asked. ‘What do you mean?’ I asked
‘Why are you here…your supposed to be in Korea’ he said
‘Ya well….my one year there got over so….’
‘Okay….whatever just don’t tell anyone what you heard’ he said and started leaving
I wanted to ask him why he was ignoring me if it had anything to do with his parents fighting and everything. So when he started leaving I called out to him. ‘Wait, Kia….I wanna ask you something’. He turned back and looked at me, I couldn’t see his face. He had blocked it with his mask and cap. ’What?’ he replied. When he said that one word I felt so much pain …….he was going through so much, that everything he did said ‘PAIN’. I realized I shouldn’t ask him about my questions now since he already had enough on his plate. So I just said,’forget about that ……don’t worry I won’t tell anyone about anything I heard ……just know…I am there for you…’...and I started leaving.
He held my hand and pushed me against the wall. ‘Can’t you stop’ he said…..He was looking at me from a higher angle because he is taller than me….this time I could see his eyes. They were swollen and red……..I just said ‘KAI’. he fell down and I caught him helping him sit up, leaning against the wall. ‘Wait here I will go get help’ I said.
I went and called the nurse, she took him to the clinic without saying a word to me, I didn’t see him after that. He didn’t come to school today either. I went to his house too….but again no one answered. I wonder if he is fine, I am really scared
