WEB : An Entangled misery
CHAPTER 02

EVERYTHING'S FINE
The Lies can't prevail over the truths.

Soon enough, we reached the PG . A women's PG located at a walkable distance to my college. The three-storey building had a lavish exterior , decorated with exotic flora . A security guard who was stationed at the gate interrogated us and dialled a number from the landline of his cabin.
I assumed it to be a call to the warden of the PG . In a matter of seconds we could see a lady , probably in her mid 50s , nearing us .

“ Welcome to the Sai Kirthi PG , I'm Bhanumathi , the overseer of this ward ” She greeted us .

“ I'm Suman Patil who spoke to you over the phone the other day , this is my sister Navya . ” Suman introduced me to the warden .
She guided all of us to the tiny reception lounge at the entrance , then looking at my brothers she said ,

“ I'm afraid that you both can't follow up till the room , since males aren't permitted inside the PG but don't worry , I will be guiding Miss Navya to her room . ”

“ Sure we understand, ” they agreed and turned to me ,
“ Navya , we will be waiting here in the lounge area , check out your room with the warden” Suman suggested.

I nodded and followed the guidance of the warden , carrying my luggage . After deadlifting my trolley for 2 floors straight, we arrived at my room .

Room 209
9th room of 2nd floor , situated at the farthest corner to the stairs .
Just Perfect !

I opened the door , and observed that both the beds of the room are vacant . I was perplexed for a second since we were told that I will be sharing the room with a girl from Christ University.

“ Your roommate called us the other day , to inform that she will be shifting in two days ” Ms. Bhanumathi enlightened the situation , perhaps she noted down my worries .

Well , it was good , since my social skills were solid zero , I was agitated at the thought of greeting a new person with whom I had to live . Oops I mean ,
Survive .

I scanned over the room , it was a decent two bedded, with double wardrobe and separate study desks for each , along with an adjoined bathroom at the corner . Pretty minimalistic but functional at the same time .

Before leaving , Ms. Bhanumathi reminded me to call her if I needed any help and closed the door . I swiftly placed the bags near the assigned bed and advanced to the lounge.
Over the lounge , Suman was busy with a phone call, while Sumith came up to me .
“ Hey kiddo , hope you liked the room ”

“Yes it was lovely , thank you for finding me the PG ” I replied , expressing my gratitude.

“ Anytime ” he winked .

I was always amazed by the factor that it was really hard to distinguish between the twins from their appearance alone , but their personalities were contrasting as clearly as day and night . Suman was a lively guy , having a luminous aura , whereas Sumith was a person unbothered with the ways of the world , a lone wolf to be precise .
Still nothing changes my perspective of how I think of them. I continued my chat with Sumith , shortly then Suman joined and said ,

“ looks like you liked your room ”

“ Yep ”

“ Then it's time for us to leave, take care . ” he said while signalling Sumith .

After the wholesome goodbyes , we part ways . Before entering the PG , I glanced back at my cousins. I swallowed my saliva as I observed , Suman was in rage while Sumith had a dark expression prevailed all over . But the thing that haunted me for a lifetime was , Sumith adjusting a GUN .
A GUN .

Yes , he had a revolver in his pants pocket , which he hid successfully before he set his foot in the cab and thus they vanished into the thin air .
No … oh god …. What's that gun doing with them ? I asked myself in bewilderment...
