The Project Part 2
Just over four months ago I took on the Project, a cheap place to live but as seen in part one it was a bit of a ruin, I've had to spend some money on tradesmen but have completed a lot of the work myself.
In England we have to have electric and gas works installed by qualified tradesmen, I also had a young builder reclad the whole chalet and some plastering done.
Then it was my turn, I replaced some rotten flooring, painted walls and ceilings throughout, tiled the kitchen worktop area, installed a loft hatch as there wasn't any access, hung mirrors, fitted skirting boards throughout, installed blinds on all windows and entrance door , then had carpets laid throughout . Then I sourced furniture, mostly recycled or cheaply.
My last jobs were to tackle the landfill jungle space outside to turn into a garden, I had to get rid of tons of rubble, wooden pallets, glass, weeds and overgrown bushes, I also decided to change all the water waste pipes, I now have a nice garden to compliment my newly renovated chalet but unfortunately I can only live here for 10 months of the year, I have to leave it behind so quickly after finishing for two months, I'll be sofa surfing but don't feel too sorry for me as half it will be in a warm sunny country.

The End
