The midnight party ( Ch 1. The Celebration)

Some dreams are meant to come true,. But what do you do when your nightmare comes true? Do run the opposite way or face your fears?
It was ten in the night, me and my friend Darcy planned on visiting the old burger joint to celebrate our graduation . I had worked hard to get good grades and I did it finally, my dad set us off by giving us plenty of money to celebrate. We laughed and hopped in the streets hand in hand singing our favorite songs. We stopped and looked up the old big board which said MORGAN'S BURGER . I was new to the town , so I asked Darcy to tell me the spooky tales of the place and I came to know about the woman, Annalise and her family along with her two children Martha and Veronica who were killed by her ex-husband Rodger Smythe decades ago, Darcy told me that the joint belonged to Annalise and the woman who was the current owner was of Annalise's blood. We had a chat on a seat facing the glass window, the snowfall was heavy and dad wasn't wrong giving us those mufflers and scarves . A sick woman shuffled her feet to our table with a notepad and a pencil. " What is that you want as a starter?" she hoarsed. " Just a glass of hot water!" I licked my dry lips, " I need some tomato soup" Darcy reapplied her chapstick. " Strawberries, I love the flavor of this swatch" she chirped. I didn't know why I was quiet , when I was s'posed to celebrate the fulfillment of my dream. The first thing I wanted to do was to leave the place as soon as possible. An eternity later.. she brought the water and the tomato soup. She went in to heat up the burgers to the cold store....Darcy kept on talking about how excited she was, but I noticed that something in the cold store was moving.....( to be continued....... )
