Pick your Poison-Chapter 37: She's good for me
Chapter 37: She's good for me
"But we should really lighten up the mood," she rolled her eyes, "No more deep thoughts for today. Agreed?"
Did she have any idea how amazing she was. "As you wish princess. I'll even let you pick a topic." Dino removed his jacket and used it as a mat for them to sit. He caught Meera staring at him when he turned back around but immediately looked away when their gazes locked.
Not commenting on it for her sake, he gestured for her to sit. "So what does the princess want to talk about? Find a topic yet?" She laughed. "Uhm, I'm still thinking." "Still thinking? What? Isn't that a shock. I was preparing myself for a quiz or something."
He sat down next to her, their bodies touching due to the limited space provided by the jacket. Meera didn't seem to mind yet any sort of physical contact with her had him instantly hardening. He taught he had it under control, didn't he? "Come on now Meera!"
"Okay, okay. Since you rushing me, what's your favorite color?" "Color? Seriously?" He raised an eyebrow. "You really that out of topics huh? It's black and I can think of a better topic."
"Oh, is it discussable or does it only benefit you?" Ignoring her sarcastic comments, he got straight to the point. "How about...how many prince charmings did a princess like you have?"
Alright, so he chose personal. He didn't care. It really was in his interest to find out how many boyfriends she'd had. He wanted to know every single detail about Meera. Dino analyzed her expression that ranged from surprised to amused to nervous. The biting of her bottom lip began again.
"I can tell you but you probably won't believe me," she said. That sounded like something he would rather say. "Tell me princess and be honest."
She made a face, fiddled with the loose ends on her nightgown. "I have never dated anyone before." "Come again?" he said before he could stop himself, then added, "Makes sense...flings then?" Maybe he didn't explain himself properly.
Meera cracked up in laugher and covered her face with both hands. "No Dino," she continued laughing, "I've never had a boyfriend or flings before in my life. See, I told you you wouldn't believe me."
"That's impossible." "I swear."
Now it was Dino's turn for the mixed bag of emotions. "What do you mean never? You've never dated or liked anyone before?" He turned sideways so that he could see her face. "No obviously I've liked guys before. Had crushes and stuff but I just didn't date any of them."
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? I...
