Not my body (chapter 5) A story series
A BOLT FROM THE BLUE.

The partly constructed steps were uneven, Nia was scared yet she kept moving ahead in the dark. As she descended each floor, she felt a little tired, but so far, no ghosts, no demons. She was glad when she touched the ground floor. She was panting, she looked at the stairs, bent forward to catch her breath & softly whispered "phew! it was a piece of cake!"However,
her emotions got the better of her, she started sobbing slowly and then suddenly burst into a laughter. She rubbed her eyes with her sleeves, stood straight and moved towards the gate. Right there, on a heap of stones, Nia saw the body, it was lying in a pool of blood. As she went closer, her hands were shaking. She felt very cold. In fact, I should punish it for growling at me. I have to show it my dominance." Nia was again talking to herself in panic.
"Woof, woof!" The dog gave a sharp explosive bark. It echoed in the still dark night.
"This animal could attract attention. She had to do something."
Her thoughts were racing. There was a brick lying just next to her leg.
She picked it up & hurled it at the dog.
It was a hit & the dog scampered off yelping in pain. Quickly she started to search for her mobile & she stumbled over the body's leg. She had fallen in the pool of blood. She could feel it on her face, her lips. The very thought that she had tasted this man's blood made her uneasy, she had an...
