Treasure part8
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. Please forgive me?"
I heard Shuba say, before realising that my crush just kissed me and he is apologizing for kissing me.
"Do you like me, Shuba?", I asked, my head down. I was to scared to hear him speak, but he did, "I don't know!"
"Why did you kiss me?": I asked
"There is something between us, I can feel it, I don't know what it is, or what is happening."
"You asked me why I didn't date anyone.", I sighed before speaking again. "After what happened with Nate" ( Nate and I dated but he never touched me, or kissed me. I should have known he using me) "I was scared but I started developing feelings for someone, then found out he was already taken, by the person that hated me more then anything else in this world. When we started drifting apart, I was more broken then anything. The truth is that I didn't care if the guy and I never became a couple, but I didn't want to lose my best friend. I wasn't scared that he would reject me, I was scared that I would lose him altogether, so I could not bring myself to tell anyone.", I completed with a smile.
"Amy, you are in love with me?", he asked with a straight face. I was positive that he was going to reject me so I start crying silently.
"Le... Let's start looking for the treasure.", I clear my throat. I spun around and started for the door quickly so Shuba wouldn't see me crying, but he did.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me into a hug before I could speak. After some fight, I finally gave in and let him hug me, as I hugged him back.
"I am sorry!", he said before letting me go, I felt as if he rejected me.
Without another word, I turned around and we walked out of the room, ready to start the search.
After an hour and a half of searching we decided to go to the Attic.
It took us 10 minutes to find a treasure box in the Attic.
We looked at each other with a smile before Shuba carried it down stairs as I followed him. I took out the key we found in the letter a few days ago and open the box.
I was shocked by what we found in the box.
