Write a short story from your past that involves light or darkness in some way.
The past holds so many memories of which I try to forget, but it's like a neverending episode of friends it just continues over and over again. I'd love to say my memories were the best growing up, but all I feel is pain and regret. The older I get these memories seem to have nestled a spot in my mind that never fade, when I feel this way.
Although I never really understood the reasons I was in such a terrible situation as a child; I just kept pushing..hoping for better days or death if life would allow. However looking back now I don't see how I made it through everything that was meant to break me. At such a ripe young age I managed to mask sadness with happiness with such ease so they didn't have a clue of how my colors...
