CHAPTER-4
When Evangeline woke up she wasn't able to understand where she is. She smelled and used her other four senses also to locate where she now is. She got the smell of an industry burning the coal. She heard the sound of workers carrying coal under her room. She walked into the side where she now heard footsteps. When she reached a place which she thought to be the door. She wasn't been able to see clearly because of the lack of light. She put her ears near to the door and senses that there are few individuals talking infornt of the door. After listening to their conversation she understood she was kidnapped by some brawls working in the coal factory. She slowly stepped out of the room when the sound of the brawls faded.
Suddenly she heard someone approaching to them. She crouched under a table which she founded to be closer to her and can help her to hide from the brawls. She saw that it was her boyfriend and by his moves and gestures she guessed that he came to help her to escape from the kidnappers. She Whispered his name but he didn't hear it. She approached bear to him and touched on his shoulders. He panicked and banged on her face. When he realised it was her, he apologized for the accidental bang on her face. Blood began to flow through a small wound besides her face. Her face seemed dull due to the sudden kidnap (actually no one gets any message before a kidnap). She hugged Ethan with tears flowing through her cheek blended with the blood, she pursed her lip— to not to let the sound of her weeping escape through her lips.
Ethan asked "why are crying detective."
She crouched by holding his head near to her waist and whispered in his ears. "I thought you let me into the hands of the kidnappers as you stopped moving when they reached." After a silence she continued "my misunderstanding made me to cry. Sorry honey"
He laughed in silence "don't think like that darling." They continued to walk by bending their body under each and every obstacles to blind the brawls vision on them. After moving to some point she saw an emblem which she had seen somewhere. When she smelled it she understood she got the same smell from the Crimson's manor. She guessed she can get something from there. She said to Ethan "I think we will get some clue from here about the murders."
Ethan asked "what are you referring to the murders. As only one has only happened."
