Small contributions big achievements
The doorbell broke Saritas sleep
It was 6.30 in the morning
Half asleep went to answer the door and saw a boy in his early 20s
"Hello ma'am, I am from the blind school," he spoke in a soft tone
Sarita went inside and brought a 20 rupee note to give him.
" No ma'am, today I have not come for any money."
"Why," she asked surprisingly
" I have been coming in your society since I was a little boy, and generous people like you have always handed me a small contribution."
" These small donations have helped me a lot in completing my education.
"Ma'am today my result has come out and I have come first."
"The education minister will be awarding me the certificate and the medal.I came to share this good news with you."
"This is the invitation for the function, please do come, " he said as he handed over the invitation card to Sarita.
Sarita smiled and took it, she read it.
"I will definitely be there, son," she said as she blessed him
"Thank you ma'am," he said and walked away.

Sometimes these small deeds that we do can bring about great changes in people's lives. We are blessed to be in that position to help those in despair.

P.S. This is a true story,a blind boy has been coming to my inlaws house for a very long time.Few days back, he came to share this news with us that he cleared government exam with 1st rank which landed him in a job at a very good position.
