I was at KC's engagement party. It was at a replica of a palace hall. I was kind of jealous because I was in love with her,but she was going to marry a rich guy, named Brett .I couldn't stand to see the two of them together. I snuck out of the party and found the storeroom. I sat on an old sofa,alone with my thoughts. I got up and punched the wall in anger. 'Its too late to tell her.' I thought to myself. A while later KC found me.

"What are you doing in here? The party's out there." she asked. "I needed to get away from the noise." I lied. I took a sip of my wine and that's when she noticed that my hand was bleeding. She followed the drops of blood to the imprint on the wall. "And your hand was already bleeding and the hole was already in the wall?" she said with a smirk. "Yes,it was." I said and got up to leave. "You're not going anywhere until you tell me why you decided to punch a wall." she demanded and stood by the door. "Too bad. I'm not telling you anything." I said and started walking to the door. "Yes you are." She said,still blocking the door. "Tell me why you did it." "Fine. You wanna know? Its because I love you KC! You happy now?" I shouted and accidentally crushed the glass in my hand.

"Wait, what?"She said,shocked. "Yes,I love you. But there's nothing I can do about it." I said and wiped my bleeding hand on my pants. "Why didn't you say anything?"She asked. "How could I?" I replied. " Brett's got a nice car,a big house. He's has everything a girl wants. He's your dream guy." I said. KC walked over and put her arms around my neck. I stood there with a confused look on my face. "He's not my dream guy." she said softly. "My dream guy is someone who can tell me face to face how they feel about me." She leaned in and whispered in my ear,"And that guy is you." before she kissed me. She broke the kiss and I looked into her eyes before kissing her again.

We sat down on the sofa after we kissed. We thought about what we were going to do about her engagement. After a few minutes we left the storeroom and went back to the party. Brett saw the two of us walking in together and saw that we were holding hands. When KC tried to talk to him,he stopped her and went to the stage. He stopped the music and got everyone's attention. "I'm sorry guys but our engagement and this party are over." He said on the microphonem. The hall was was filled with confused murmurs. "It seems that KC has been cheating on me with Matthew."He continued. Her parents Craig and Kiera looked at her with disappointed faces. " Is this true?" her mother asked. "Well,not really. I mean we kissed but-" "Save it." Brett interrupted. "Its over." he said and came down from the stage before he punched me. I fought back until KC stood between the two of us. She told Brett to never contact her again and punched him in his face,breaking his nose. She walked over to me and hugged me. She then apologized to her parents and then we walked to her car before driving off to start our life together.
