octophobia is the fear of opening your eyes, obviously I didn't have it diagnosed when I was born. it didn't just happen out of the blue though...
when I was 7 years old I heard my parents yelling. then I heard a sound i would never forget. bang. I started running. I was worried about my parents... I didn't know or care what wait awaiting me. I knew I shouldn't have gone in there. I walked in with tears dripping down my face to the sight of my parents shot dead on the floor and from then I closed my eyes and never opened them again.
