Those were really harsh days , 24 th may 1850 - 30 th August 1855 , when the abbey of st. carta , romania was in turmoil . People nearby villages heard many demonic voices and unpleasant activities like suddenly disappearing of villagers took place , who lived in that village ( caradia ) nearby the abbey .

As per ritual , every month a nun had to go to that abbey for purification of it , by holy water of jesus from church . Since 1850 no nun had returned after the process . people were really scared by those incidents and they began looking for its solution .

It was 24 th may ,1851 when nun Anne had went to the place for purification . By the time she entered the church she heard some voices , She was much scared but she collected her courage and began searching for it , She was determined to find it out . She then move to the open ground of the middle of the abbey , where she saw such a thing that blowed her mind .
She saw a rotten dead body , wearing black dress , probably of the nun who had came previously to spray holy water in the abbey .
Much scared she began praying : "Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. "

She left the place and move inside the abbey .
It was a really dark place much darker then dark forest , she was holding a lamp in her hand and she walk down tawards the underground storey . where suddenly she saw a door where it was written " No more God further "
A sudden sound then reached her ears, and she began praying and begging to god .
Suddenly the lamps blowed down .
