The whole nation was in uproar as today was the day when the new king will be enthroned , at some place in a corner of the kingdom there were some people highly displeased and at others everyone was enjoying and celebrating the day , whereas we had our lovely lady Julia , still in that same palace , but something different was happening.
Julia ran out of the palace panting her anklets making a gentle tickling melody that filled the whole air as she rushed at the front , to stand in front of the several guards who surrounded the palace.
"Who are you all?"
She spoke with authority in her voice calming her breaths and her hands by her side , that's what her father taught her to never show anyone that you are scared , a man seemingly the one in charge of all the other soldiers came forward bowing politely and respectfully.
"We are here to escort you to the royal palace , my lady . The Duke has given us his permission."
The man that spoke had toned muscles that felt like it is honed from rigorous training , and his skin bearing the marks of scars earned in combat , Julia wasn't sure if it was right her dad wouldn't send her such an abrupt message this is not something to be expected , but she doesn't defy.
"I understand, then I shall follow you."
Julia spoke and sat down carefully in the palanquin by taking the hand of the man who seemed to be the general then looked away , after a few minutes she arrived at the royal palace.
Everything was so silent and calm as if the sea waves before tsunami , after entering the royal palace only a few, very few court officals were seen in the throne room as everyone awaited for the soon-to-be king's presence.
Julia kept turning her head glancing everywhere to find her dad but failed heavily , after failing to find her dad , she stepped back wanting to leave but then everyone stood up leaving the middle of the hall empty and the announcement of the soon to be king arriving was done.
Julia's heart started beating fast which she tried to calm , she hasn't taken her medications either only one thing going on in her mind 'she can't fall here'.
