On 9 April 20/24, the English physicist Peter Higgs, Nobel Prize winner for physics and discoverer of the Higgs boson, died.
Born in 19/29, he was professor of theoretical physics at the University of Edinburgh, where he conducted important studies on subatomic particles and on the mechanism that contributes to the understanding of mass in elementary particles.
