I was in the army for fifteen years, I saw active service several times in Iraq and Afghanistan, I saw many of my friends/fellow comrades, male and female lose their lives. I myself spent time in hospital as the armoured vehicle I was travelling in ran over a mine that was hidden in the road, I was lucky as I and one other were pulled from the wreckage alive, I suffered head injuries which lead to my discharge from the army, I still suffer from PTSD.

I arrived back home to find another family living in my home, they said they had brought it for cash three months earlier from the couple that claimed to be Mr & Mrs Jones, I am in fact Mr Jones, I've tried to contact my wife to no avail, she's listed as a missing person.
I tried to access my joint account but it had been closed for three months, around the same time the house was sold.
That Sir is why I am reduced to begging, the army said they will help but the paperwork takes time.
The suited man helped the beggar to his feet and asked him to accompany him to a nearby cafe where while eating breakfast the suited man offered the beggar man help to get off the streets and move forward with his life.
The Ex soldier/beggar accepted the suited man's offer with his first smile in a long time.
