The Golden Mystery Chapter 5
I felt a gentle tapping on my shoulder. "Wake up, Snigdha. We've reached your home station."
I opened my eyes the remnants of the recent nap still bothering me.
We got off the metro. "Let me find ourselves an auto", I offered to Abhik to which he replied "Not needed, You're not okay, I can't afford to let you faint again."
"But I'm alright. I fainted only once, Abhik-"
before I could complete my sentence my head suddenly spinned and I grabbed Abhik's shirt, he held my waist firmly till I regained balance.
"Ahh-" I gasped touching my head where I hurt it. "Your definition of alright you mean" he said in a nonchalant manner. "Anyways did you notice your position." he teased. I looked around. We were so close and at the corner of the station though no one really payed attention, an old couple were staring at us and saying something. Clearly flustered I pushed Abhik aside and stiffly said, " Let's go". I turned around and looked at him to see him smirking with a raised brow. "Look who's blushing all of a sudden." he teased again. "Shut up and find an auto."
"Your wish is my command princess."
The auto ride was silent but something was bugging me well not that I didn't like it. Abhik's behaviour, well he always teased and flirted with me despite me having a boyfriend but he never pushed his limits. Today's event maybe he did it out of his nature but they gave me sudden fireworks.
