As I unlatched the gate of my house
a volley of arguments
came to my ears.
My mother & sister in law"s.
The argument subsided
with my entry
but not that long before
where I couldn't
comprehend their chagrin.
The issue was workload....
As I retired in my room
I scrolled Facebook,
where my mother
and sis in law"s beautiful shot
embracing each other
" my mother in law ... the best '
gazed back at me
I wondered
where all the love had gone
during the quarrel spree.

' will miss you so much '
wrote my friend
in a caption....on fb
she was the same friend
who was always backbiting
behind my back
whenever she was free.
Fake friendship !

" my darling husband"s gift
on my birthday '
wrote my colleague
flaunting an expensive ring
where as everyone
in the office was aware
that she was having
a clandestine fling.
Fake love !
Is it so necessary
rather mandatory
to flaunt emotions
without depth or meaning?
It is my personal observation though , to which
many might disagree
being genuine
gives a feel good feeling
of course !
we are all free
to think and express
differently .
