... "Well, you sure know how to make my day." she said.
With an intrigued tone, he asked, "Uhh, you mean just a normal conversation makes your day?"
"Not just a "normal conversation", it was more than that, it was filled with sagacious words plus you know when to say the right things at the right time. That's what I like about you."
A moment of awkward silence filled the atmosphere and suddenly they stared at one another. he looked down and said, "That's what you like about me." in a tone that was not audible enough for her to hear.
"What was that?"
"Uhm — uh, I— I was saying that the weather has changed" he said while forcing a smile.
"Time sure does fly whenever I talk to you." she said with a chuckle.
A drop of rain dropped on the flower she held gently.
"You know, I — I've always wanted to try something" she said as her cheeks reddened.
"And that is ...?"
"To kiss someone in the rain." she said while looking down with embarrassment.
The boys eyes widened, his pupils dilated, forcefully swallowing his saliva. his heart pounding as his face was accumulating sweat. Surprised he was to see his hand uncontrollably touching the girls face and maneuvering it in order to look in to her eyes.
more rain started falling, the girl removed her glasses and slowly closed her eyes, still out of control he found himself kissing her.
