since we were born in a soceity where all the commands should be automatically accepted and done , saying No or doing sth unlike what was expected from us to be done , has been regarded indeed as rudeness.
i bet being selfish sometimes, is all what we need to break the ice that the society has built over time and made it even strong on our burden.
it is totally fine to be selfish and try to set boudaries to protect yourself from such toxic relationships.
it is alright to select carefully your surroundings in an era when fake people are everywhere
