Arjun has no option other than following his father's words. He comes forward and stands behind Meenakshi to take the chain off but Meenakshi resists.

"Leave it. Let it stay. It's just a gold chain with the first letter of your name on it. I'm fine with it" says she. These words bring a big smile onto Arjun's face. "If my heart finally says no, I'll ask you to take it off...." said Meenakshi. These words break Arjun's heart.

"I'm really very sorry. All this has happened because of me... please forgive me..." said a voice standing behind Arjun. This was Aakanksha.

She was a girl who had covered the right side of her face with a scarf. Looking at the left side of her face, Maanas's heart skips a beat.

"I'm sorry Arjun....." says Aakanksha.
"You needn't be sorry Aakanksha. It isn't your fault..... I'm happy that you're rescued..." said Meenakshi.

"Yeah... actually, it's all because of you, Aakanksha. I was able to marry my love..." said Arjun.

"Mister... let me tell you... even if Aakanksha wouldn't have been there, we would've stopped at the same point and would've definitely got married.... She is innocent and has nothing to do with our fate...." says Meenakshi cutting his words. She gets up from her place.

Arjun also gets up from his place. "Pruthvi, our semester exams begin day after tomorrow. Let's go study...." says Meenakshi. She holds Pruthvi's hand and takes him upstairs.

"Mom, I'm confused with her behaviour. Your Majesty, with your permission, may I go, meet my sister?" asked Maanas.

"You can also address me as dad. If you don't like that, just call me uncle. You are a part of my family. Hence, don't address me with such huge terms....." says Rajveer.

"Sure uncle. May I?" asked Maanas again. Rajveer smiles and nods his head in yes letting Maanas go. Maanas moves towards the stairs. Arjun also follows Maanas.

"Arjun, please sit down. We would like to have a word with you...." says Gayathri.

"Mom are you....." says Maanas but Gayathri cuts his words. "Maanas, you are free to go meet your sister. Just leave ..." says she. Her words were harsh and strict. Arjun also comes back and sits.

Maanas leaves the place in fury.

"I wanted to tell you something" says Gayathri after Maanas leaves the place.

Rajveer just nods his head in yes indicating Gayathri to continue.

"Meenakshi is not our biological daughter. We've adopted her...." saying this, Gayathri's voice begins to tremble.
