An ordinary Boy.
They say you will literally know when you fall in love, it will be no magical moment, no special memory just an ordinary person standing before you with flaws of the world still your heart will refuse to beat for anyone else but them.
It was one of those moments for me today. It was raining heavily and we all were drenched. By all, I meant me, my family, him and his family. We both shared that family friend bond since childhood but never thought the other way. I not even used to like him, well I was busy counting all his flaws, we all usually do when we are so used to meet that person on boring occasions, I did the same. Yeah I didn't like him because he made me feel inferior to him every time, it always felt like he wanted to shine before all and make me look down.
But this evening we took a shelter under a cafe, due to heavy rains. Unfortunately we both got a different table to dine upon than our parents. We got to Sit and talk! First of all I wasn't interested in talking to him but then his manners, his intellectuals attracted me. The way he respected me, my family and made sure I ate enough tummy filled was so attractive (of course for a foody like me, making sure I eat stomach full definitely matters!) So yeah we stood in the balcony out while our parents were chit chatting.
"Do you like rain?" He asked
"I actually don't like so much..it is ok. What about you?" I said calmly
"Not until today" he smiled
"And..why so?" I asked curiously
"Because it made me look at you so closer, I wouldn't know you looked so beautiful this close. Of course I adored you from distance, but being close to you feels so good" he said staring deep in to my eyes.
I was about to trip off the steps, when he hold me.
"Can you atleast try to be little less clumsy! Atleast to safeguard my life idiot! You know I would loose my reason to smile if something happens to you!" He snorted angrily holding me closer. I couldn't answer him anything but embrace him. All this life this person whom I kept hating I wouldn't knew meant so much for me.
"You make me feel safe now" I hugged him tighter
"Only 'I' want to and I will make sure you feel same for the rest of your life" he embraced me tighter.
Blame the ambience, blame the rain, blame that dinner, blame that restaurant, blame our parents too but I knew he was the one who would not let me trip that easily from his life.
