Friend and her cooking
After spending hours at my friend's house working on a project, we finally took a break for breakfast. She had to cook for the first time because her mom went shopping, leaving behind her mobile phone at full volume, high brightness, with 200 apps running in the background for the past two years.

Neither of us knew how to cook, but our hunger was relentless. We decided to toss a coin to determine who would cook. For the first time in my life, luck favored me, so I told her to cook and continued with the project.

A few hours later, she called me to the dining room for lunch. She served me a plate of fried rice. Hesitantly, I took a bite, expecting the worst, but to my surprise, it tasted really nice. I couldn't tell if it was my hunger or her magic touch.

"How did you cook it so well?" I asked, devouring the rice.

"I just washed the rice properly," she said, munching on her portion.

"Really? That's it? Tell me how you did it so I can try next time," I said, finishing my plate in seconds and savoring every bite.

"I just took the rice, washed it with water, then rinsed it with dishwashing liquid," she said casually.

I froze, mid-bite, staring at her in shock.

"I'm leaving," I said, standing up and thinking I might still have a chance to get to the hospital in time.

"But wait, I made lemon rice with Vim for dinner," she called after me.

I ran for my life.
