(The Evening of Kalyan's Father's
Honoree Banquet , Kalyan and Tessie
are in Kalyan's room fixing themselves
up before they leave for the Banquet).

Tessie: Kalyan, Please tell me that your not wearing those shoes ?

Kalyan: (Kalyan looka down at her shoes). What's wrong with my shoes? they match my dress.

Tessie: Yeah, but they're so last season.

Kalyan: And who made you made shoe detective? And plus I'm not wearing Heels tonight so flats will do tonight.

Tessie: You know I went to see Justin.

Kalyan: When?... How is he?

Tessie: He's crushed Kalyan.

Kalyan: Well is he coming tonight?

Tessie: When I saw him, he was packing his suitcase. And he was pretty mad.

Kalyan: Now Tessie you know more than anyone that i never wanted this to happened.

Tessie: I know.

Kalyan: Neither him or Casey has called me back. How did this happen? Am I bad person?

Tessie: No, it happens to the best of us. Whatever you do, you cannot beat yourself up over it. Just make sure when you mak your decision, be sure that you're making the right one. Wether if they both leave or stay with, Just know that you tried and that's all you can do.

Kalyan: I know I need to apologize to the both of them.

Eveyone in attendce are all wearing
Dresses and suits.)

Javon: My God! They really went all out this year!

Kalyan: Yeah I never been to one before. We have you to thank for that Dad!

Mrs. Turner: We're so proud of you Dear.

Mr. Turner: Thanks for all the support.

Javon: You're welcome Pops, I'm gonna go talk to few childhood friends see you all at our table. (Javon leaves).
