Kasturi. (part 1)
Kasturi, was always lost in her own imaginative world, where she would imagine her perfect life, where she has everything, but in reality she was an overthinking shy nerd.
She belonged to an orthodox family, hence wasn't allowed a lot of things which were normal for other girls.
For instance- western clothes, befriending boys or even she wasn't allowed to bring her friends home or going out with them.
Her life was restricted to her family and studies only.
But somehow she managed to have a bestfriend Ritu, she would share everything with her, and would tell her how she wants to live life on her own terms.Ritu would listen to her dreams, aspirations and sometimes rants. This was all that Kasturi ever wanted, to be heard.
Kasturi was big time movie fan, she loved watching movies and would give good reviews to Ritu and mostly she was able to convince Ritu to watch a particular movie.
One day Ritu suggested Kasturi to start a blog, where she can write movie reviews in her unique style to which Kasturi agreed.
After many anxious moments and infinite trials, she wrote her first blog.
To her surprise people loved it, her inbox was filled with comments, some welcoming her to the platform, some encouraging her to write more and a few praises.
This was a new experience for Kasturi, so many people acknowledging her, she was elated.
She spent an entire afternoon replying to those comments, it was a general thank you note with wishes for a good day.
This went on for a while, she would post a blog, get a few comments and she would reply to them.
One day she got a comment which caught her attention, a guy was thanking her to be a part of his life and making it better.
She was surprised at first and then she thought he might have mistaken her for someone else. Then she noticed the same person has commented on her every post. She became curious, hence questioned him.
The person told her, her wishes actually make his day good, lately he was struggling with a few things but since she started wishing him, things have changed.
Kasturi thought the guy was just messing around so she ignored him, but as days passed, she kind of started liking his decency, he never asked her for anything, nor contact number neither was he eager to see her.
He told Kasturi that for him nature of the person matters more than the looks.
For around 15 days they chatted in the comment box of Kasturi's blog. It became a habit for both of them, and after Ritu this guy Bhushan was listening to her.
Kasturi told Ritu about Bhushan, they discussed how destiny brought Bhushan to Kasturi, if she hasn't started writing blogs, she never would have met Bhushan.
