Myself banyan tree, the oldest tree in my locality. I am 100 years old. I was born in 1020 when India was not independent. Now India is independent and everyone take great care of me as everyone used to. My other junior plant and trees also feel very happy as they are there. We all were talking suddenly a child who was the child of that society only. He came and plant a small plant who was crying we asked her that what happened? She left up with tears said that a man came and spread chemicals around my and my friends roots. Some of the trees only survive that young boy planted me here seeing my pain. We were talking then the members of the society and were going to somewhere. We were eagerly waiting to know where they are going by making a group. That same boy appeared and said that the elders are going to the place where the chemical was spread. He also said that they have informed the police and that mall project will be closed and some new trees are also going to be planted. He said the plant goodbye and run towards the basement for playing. I till remember that young boy.
