WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD
WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD.
*_Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord;Be of good courage,And He shall strengthen your heart;Wait, I say, on the Lord!_*
*_Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LordShall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary,They shall walk and not faint._ NKJV*
Waiting is an act of delaying movement and patiently expecting something with the hope of getting it. Waiting on the Lord is a very important habit all Christians have to develop. It doesn't matter how long you wait what matters is the application of your faith in God in order to receive the answer. Just don't stop waiting! God told Habakkuk the prophet in *Habakkuk 2:3* that, he will receive a vision at an appointed time, though it tarries, he should wait for it because it shall surely come. One might wonder why God wants us to wait on Him before our answers come. This is because when we wait on Him, we humble ourselves before Him and we become strengthened by Him. Waiting on God produces patience, which is one of the fruits of the Spirit very necessary for every Christian to bear. This is what the Bible says about patience. *James 1:4 _But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. NKJV_* Our God is a patient God. *Romans 15:5 _Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,_ NKJV*
Let us pray for grace to never get tired of waiting on God!
