I had a hard time placing Alex on spirit, but thank the Lord spirit made it easier by crouching, and I and Alex got on, "Thanks", I said as I patted it, it neighed and started galloping, to which direction I had no idea, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Spirit took us to my house where mum almost got a heart attack and dad went pale, I got down and before I even touched Alex my parents took him from me and brought him down and into the house, "You should go and break the news to his parents", dad said s he helped mum take Alex inside. i got on spirit and flipped the reins, spirit raced off, and then I realized that this was actually the first time I'm riding a horse myself, my mind wavered to Alex, and the night he took me home on his horse, "Please Be Alright", I whispered to myself as spirit took us to Alex's house.
CHELSEA:
I was restless ever since my birthday, I never got to see Alex and Sam again, I thought that they would be together doing what mum and dad did in their youth, but I was still feeling restless. Mum and dad tried to calm me down, but all in vain, I went outside to take some fresh air, my mind went straight to Alex, and I sat down with my knees up and my hands on my knees, I rested my head on my hands and closed my eyes. I heard neighing, but I thought it was only my imagination, I heard it again and then I raised my head and saw to my surprise, Sam riding spirit towards me, and I stood up, dusting my gown and walking towards her. She reached me and that's when I realized that Alex wasn't with her, "Where's Alex?".
SAM:
"Where's Alex?", Chelsea asked as I came down, I bowed my head and then said, "Can we go inside, I need to talk to all of you", she looked at me and then nodded, I took her hand and she took me inside. "Hey, Sam to what do we owe this visit?", asked Alex's mom before looking towards me, "What's wrong?, is Alex with you?", she asked again looking at me with a worried expression, I started crying thinking about it, "Alex is lying unconscious in my house", I said, Chelsea's hand slowly dropped from mine, I thought she would think that it's my fault, and drift away from me just when we were getting to know each other, Alex's mom dropped the spoon she was holding and Alex's dad shifted his gaze to me, "What?!", Alex's mom yelled, "My mum was kidnapped this morning by a gang my dad only ever told me in stories, Alex and I went to rescue her, Alex got rid of all the bandits including the leader, freeing my mum in the process, but the leader stabbed him before he died leaving Alex in a critical state. He is currently in my house with my mom and dad", They were all silent for a moment before Alex's dad spoke, "Go and take care of him, he needs you now at this condition, we will come see him", his wife shot a glare at him, "What do you mean later, we need to go to him now, I need to be with my son", she said as she started to sob, Chelsea tugged my dress, I looked at her and found out that she was crying, "Can I come with you?", she asked, I looked at her parents, waiting for their response, "I guess I'll stay back knowing that Alex is safe, but we will be there sooner than you think", Alex's mom said, "We'll be expecting you", I said as I turned around to go, Chelsea followed me and we both got on spirit and headed back to my house, I on the front and Chelsea in my front, "I hope he's alright", Alex's mom said as I and Chelsea began moving, "Me too, honey, me too", Alex's dad said as spirit moved and moved until he was out of sight, "Thank you Sam", Alex's dad said as he pulled his wife closer for a hug.
I sped up hoping to reach home on time to go see my Love, I just got him and I'm definitely not going to lose him, I love him, I was looking see straight ahead and then I felt a pair of hands wiping my face, that's when I realized that I was crying, "Don't worry, my brother will be fine, he just needs you to be strong for him", Chelsea said as autumn was drawing closer, the leaves were slowly falling to the floor, the air was getting a little warmer, and I couldn't help but think, 'Can I really be strong for Alex?', I gotta be, he needs me, and I definitely can't see myself without him, so I'll be his shoulder to lean on until he recovers, I looked at Chelsea and saw her smiling at me, "That's the spirit", she said, spirit neighed, I guess he was angry, "Not you boy...", we both said in unison, and then continued our journey.
We reached home and I quickly rushed inside the house, hoping to see Alex awake. I barged into the house unannounced, startling my parents, "Alex!". My parents were with the first aid kit, and was trying to see ew up his wounds, they were with a scissors when I barged in, my dad holding the scissors, let it slip out of fear and it was almost at one of Alex's injuries, at that moment, I felt like the beating in my heart had slowly begun to fade, I watched the scissors spin towards Alex, before it reached him I covered my eyes, I didn't hear a stab, I opened my eyes to see my mum holding the scissors and as my joy was visible, my mum yelled my name, "Samantha!!!", to the extent that Chelsea who was outside quickly came inside.
