Love, through the eyes of child
"Hey there, kiddo," I said, kneeling down to meet the small child's curious gaze.

After playing for a few minutes, the child suddenly asked, "What is love?"

"Wanna know?" I asked with wide eyes, and the child nodded eagerly, prompting me to continue.

"Okay, imagine your favorite toy, the one that makes you super happy when you play with it," I began, mimicking a big smile.

"Yeah!" the child exclaimed, a grin spreading across their face.

"Well, love is like that warm, fuzzy feeling you get, but it's for people instead of toys. It's when you care about someone so much that you want to make them happy and be with them all the time," I explained, adding a loving sparkle to my eyes.

"But why do Mom and Dad argue if they love each other?" the child asked, their brow furrowing in concern.

I paused, then gently replied, "You know how sometimes you and your friends might not agree on everything, but you still care about each other?"

The child nodded slowly, indicating their understanding.

"It's the same with Mom and Dad. Sometimes they might not see eye-to-eye, but their love for each other is like a big, beautiful tree," I said, gesturing with my hands to illustrate.

"A tree?" the child echoed, intrigued.

"Yes, a tree," I confirmed, nodding. "Even when there's a storm and the branches shake, the roots stay strong. That's the love Mom and Dad have for each other and for you. So, even if they argue sometimes, their love will always be there, just like the tree's roots."

The child's worried expression softened into a small smile as they listened intently.

"And hey," I added, pulling out a chocolate from my pocket, "a little sweetness always helps too."

The child's eyes lit up with delight as they eagerly took the chocolate, their worries momentarily forgotten as they happily played with me for the rest of the afternoon.
