The streetlights were dim as the mist enclosed it in its mysterious grip. She peered out of her window into the darkness, was there someone out there or was it her imagination? She looked closer wanting to find out what was hidden in the darkness. Curiosity tickled her thoughts till she stared and saw, the beauty of her dreams and the one for whom she loses sleep.
He had been peeping at her from the comfort of the dark as he was too shy to talk to her. Like the hook to its eye, their eyes meet and with a smile she pulls him from the dark into the light. "Hi", he says nervously and completely unsure of himself. Feeling bold and high off her feelings she replies, "I've been waiting for you".
