Arthur came home, turned the lights on in the house, he looked around, the emptiness and the loneliness surrounded him. Arthur's eyes fell on Ally's photo that was placed on a side table near the front door , he couldn't hold it in anymore, Arthur cried remembering all the perfect moments he spent with Ally, he was in so much pain. Arthur was so broken, he turned to alcohol and he had stopped performing. His life was filled with darkness his days of magic was over. Arthur shut himself out from the world ,he never left the house and he never met anyone. Arthur's family would visit to check in on him but he would refuse to see them. Arthur's nights were filled with nightmares and screams of the night he lost Ally. The memory of Ally covered in blood as she fell onto his arms hunted Arthur's mind. Arthur's house began to be covered by vines and the place would look as if no one lived there. Arthur stopped taking care of himself his beard grew and he became unrecognizable. It's been almost a year Arthur had hidden from the world not even the sunlight entered the house. He boarded up the windows and doors, he stayed in the dark because it was the only place he found comfort. Everytime he closes his eyes he saw visions of Ally and a deck of cards that were being burnt, little did he know what the cards meant. It was faith and destiny that brought Arthur to his knees, yet Arthur still couldn't see that the magic he was looking for was within his very own hands. One cold morning, Arthur woke up to Ally's voice as it was carried by the wind. The voice gracefully calling out Arthur's name. Arthur woke up thinking it was just his imagination but he kept hearing the voice... Arthur slowly walked out the bedroom looked down the dark hallway, there's was no one there. Ally's voice continues to call out to Arthur, uncertainty filled Arthur's eyes as his heart pounds he takes a deep breath and slowly descends the stairs, the voice became silent .Arthur got scared and picked up a baseball bat that was on the floor for he had heard a loud bang on the front door. The place was so dark he couldn't see outside, since the windows were boarded up. Armed with the bat he slowly positioned himself to attack as he opened the door . The sunlight came in and light up the entire house. A gus of wind entered the house and Arthur began to feel Ally's presence. Arthur got scared and ran outside when he noticed how much he missed the site of flowers and the green pastures of grass that surrounded their home the site of the ocean below the cliff where the breath taking view would render him to breathe in the fresh air.
