Author's P.O.V.

After releasing Julia from the hug Nathan kept his hand on her bare waist and gently tuck a strand of hair behind her ear lovingly , his finger brushing against her ear.

"I know you must be having a lot of questions."

He spoke with a small and calm tone , as if everything was already planned and now is executed just as he thought it would , making Julia suspicious of his actions.

"Then answer me , what is all this? How can you become a king? And-"

Julia paused and gulped not wanting her suspicions to get true .

"Did you poisoned the former king?"
She finally spoke the doubt that was eating her alive from the start which her bestfriend too pointed out but she simply ignored it defending him , Nathan had an amused smile on his lips.

"Humare pass aur koi vikalp nahi tha ."
(I didn't have any other option.)

Julia paused and looked at him in disbelief but sighed , she never liked the paranoid king herself but how did Nathan still become the king ? There still were two princes , as if reading her mind , Nathan spoke again.

"They are dead."
Nathan spoke in a calm tone which was too much for Julia to take in , infact everything is too much for her right now.

"You-"

He cut her off .

"Yes , I ordered it."
Julia was stunned and gulped when he spoke so straightforwardly and didn't even try to hide it .

"If you want to know the whole story , it's too long . And right now I prefer to stay with the beautiful young lady more."

Nathan spoke with a smile , gently grabbing a few strands of her hair and kissing them while his eyes locked in her's.

"How can-"
Julia again spoke but stopped at the sudden soft kiss on her forehead making her blush slightly , and she put one of her hand on her right cheek looking at him surprised.

"Don't leave me , please. I will answer all your questions later , humara waada hai."
(I promise)

Julia gulped getting weak seeing him like this , the man who made everyone head's bowed solely by his presence is requesting her to stay with him .
