Pretty much everything about you was nothing close to real. I knew that and still I couldn't help feel helpless. There was nothing I could do to make myself stop. My heart wasn't a clock I could reset. I came too far to just turn around and leave. It wasn't easy like they said it would be. so I stood there waiting for your disappearance. I could have been the first to leave, save the little face I had but I love you. The night you tip toed towards the doorknob, I was wide awake. My heart exploded and the pain was suffocating but I couldn't show. For the fear that you might stay if you saw that pain in me, I drew the blanket over my head. I didnt wake up the next morning, I couldn't bear see a new day. I don't even know for how long I laid there frozen in time.
