I'M SORRY

There are things I did in the past that I'll always live to regret. Elizzy was my best friend but I messed her life up. I frustrated her. I talked behind her back. I betrayed our friendship. I made life miserable for her.

The break up with her boyfriend was my doing. I was the brains behind it all. I planted hatred among them. I turned her friends against her.
Elizzy did better in virtually everything. Everyone loved her. My school mates, my friends, even my teachers.

Before Elizzy joined our school, I was the over all best student. I was top of my class, and I did better in every other school activity. With Elizzy's arrival came my downfall. Everyone chose her over me, my friends inclusive. I felt terrible. She was about being nominated as the school head girl. That was a shame to me. I had to do something. So, I planned her downfall.

Now, I feel the pain of what I caused Elizzy. She was a kind girl. Pretty and Awesome.
I regret being mean to her. In the midst of the whole trauma, she loses her dad. This is too much for her to bear. I wish I could see her. I want to let her know how very remorseful I am. I hope she would be able to forgive me". - Dorcas narrates.

Sometimes all it takes is just an utterance. We must have messed things up. We must have hurt other people in ways we may not even know. You never know what the other person is going through due to your words and actions towards them.

Until you get to wear their shoes, you'll never know where it hurts. You can make things right. You don't just sit and pretend you don't know what you did. Saying "sorry" could undo a lot.

Someone is hurting. Look around. Are you ready to right your wrongs? Go and say "sorry".
