On social media, the unexpected is usually formed. Write a story about your unusual experiences on the internet.
If you live in a social world, as we all do, you are always being hit with information about how others are doing. An interesting way of bridging the virtual world with the physical word in terms of news and relevant information. This has become a great service to the community.
But it's not just positive things that come out of social media there's the negative as well, and the most expected thing that we can expect is usually unexpected.
Because we are in the day and age of texts, Twitter, and Facebook, and should therefore very rarely be surprised by anything anymore. Whatever you post, something always leaks out with the potential of getting spoiled.
But this is just a reflection of what's going on around us, in society.
And so to put my explanation in the boldest and truest form......When we make the unfamiliar familiar, the unknown known, the uncomfortable comfortable and believe the unbelievable, we should then expect the unexpected.
Social media has come a long way and with all the good has come some bad, and there will always be a lot of people hiding behind their computers. Where they find the confident to be very critical sometimes even cruel to others online. So remember everything you post is open to all sort of interpretation by these keyboard warriors.
And so living in a social media world, there's always a danger of being overexposed and when something is overexposed it is then no longer interesting.
Besides any form of media is an opportunity to be a mirror and reflection of what we are experiencing, a glimpse into the finer details of our lives. It can be fun and unique in a lot of ways if used cautiously.
What is interesting is the power and the impact of social media and as more and more people use social media to tell their story, the wants and needs of more people will also be reflected.
Because in the end..... all social media is, is people wanting to connect with other people. Looking for an opportunity to reach a massive number of people with transparency, honesty, and integrity.
And as such it comes into being in a peculiar social form which has grown into blogs, and daily aggregators. Where many people decide to share mundane things for self-glorification.
And now we are left with an addiction plus expectation for the attraction which equals social media.
So truly nothing is to be expected but the unexpected.
