Ty had driven away from the life she knew to a quiet little town between home and nowhere.
Two days later she was still at the Woods Inn
just thinking things over like her life I mean.
Going into the office to pay for a few more days the owner was watering flowers and pulling weeds. Goodmorning she said as he opened the door for her, goodmorning you're paying for a room by the day he said. Are you sure you don't want to rent a cabin they are paid monthly. Ty stood there thinking for a minute, looking at the owner I'll show them to you he said. They left the office walking around to the back. Ty noticed the one closest to the pond let's see that one she pointed. The owner opened the door she walked in Ty got a nice feeling a small house.
There was a small living area a sofa and a lazyboy everything was wood looking the walls were all black cherry wood with a shine.
There was a small kitchen connected to the left about three steps to the right was a bedroom with a reconnecting bath off set.
Ty could tell that he put a lot of money into these little houses they were very nice.
I'll take it she said, handing her the key they walked back to the office to do the leasing.
Since this is the end of the month we'll transfer the payment of the room having this be the payment this month he said. Ty went back to her room the move to the small cabin.
After moving she went shopping for things to fill the fridge and bathroom. A cooking set glasses and something for them to hold.
Hours later she turned on her phone there was message after message from Denny.
The first thing she did was delete all the messages with one saying we need to talk.
Somehow or another you got it in your head that it's ok to just not care about my feelings she said to the phone. It's done all the time sometimes it's better to be alone then to be with someone that doesn't care. A surface person isn't for everybody they can make anything look good. An actor for every occasion the best being love. At this point Ty had started to admit that she knew that things wasn't what she wanted but she stayed anyway it being familiar. But that's the point she thought familiar not what you want and need because it was familiar.
This time I'll wait on what I want, the thing is the years I spent caring living with what somebody else want not my needs.
The phone beeped the text read
I'm sorry please talk to me I miss you
please talk to me I love you where are you.
Love isn't hard someone makes it hard,
love doesn't hurt someone steps out and make
problems where there were none. Then they act like it can be fixed with I'm sorry.
If they didn't make problems they wouldn't need fixing now he doesn't understand why I am where I am.
I left because everything that we had has been touched by somebody else. Ty delete the message and turned the phone off she wasn't ready to change the number. I don't understand what's makes him say he loves me,
but can still watch other not to mention having sex with them. Is there anybody that still know what love is. Is there anybody that want to be in a monogamous relationship
besides me. I mean it's not done anymore is it
it's like sharing lust because that isn't love.
