A young lady used to jog by the sea shore every morning. Every day she would find the very same old woman doing the same thing; she would pick up a turtle from the sand and remove all the sea weeds and other dirt clogged on it's shell, then she would carefully put it right back inside the water and pick up another one. This would go on and on.

The young lady was so intrigued that one day she approached the older woman and asked, " Excuse me, but why are you doing this, it must be tiring?"
The older woman, wearing an earnest expression without a break in her task answered her, " I'm ridding them of all this dirt, it reduces their rehydration, if they are sick, it may make it worse." This threw the lady into confusion and she couldn't help but as, "This sea is so vast, there are so many turtles not just in this sea alone, washing just these turtles, what difference does it make?"

For the first time the older woman smiled and patted her shoulder, "My dear, it makes a difference to these turtles, you'd be amazed if they could talk."

# I read this story somewhere and it inspired me, well, I did make a few modifications though 😊. I hope it will inspire you too. Society has made it such that you feel stupid, uncool, and old school when you stick to doing the right thing. I just want to say, whatever you're doing right, keep on doing it. It shouldn't matter what others say, although you may not know it, you are making a difference, and every difference is significant. 🤗❤
