Stolen Cable Chapter 2

As vile a woman she was. "We need people like her." Norman figured. There has to be opposits for there to be same-osits after all. Norman the human shared names with the not so human wizard Norm. Norm as mentioned earlier is the neighbor of our yet to be named cable stealing Wizard. This of course in the context of creative writing would be considered a sloppy and uninspired choice of names. However in this case those are their names. I could lie and make something more believable and creative up however it would all be a farce.
Norman had ended yet another pointless conversation with an unappreciative customer. It was finally the end of the work day.
"See you Norm!"
"Take care kathy I'll see you tomorrow!"
Norm had stepped outside. The warmth from the sun hit his entire body instantly. Warm smoke filled his lungs as he torched a fresh vannilla cigarello with his bik. The fresh sting of vanilla smoke filled his nose lungs and eyes. A sub conscious thought drifted through his mind…. Lung cancer…. Emphysema….. Then drifted away.
" Oh this was just what I needed."
Norman had lived across from cheap lots for quite some time. He had a working vehicle and license however simply walking across the street was convenient enough. It was quiet enough out. Birds were singing and the traffic was steady. After hurrying across the street he stood outside his house still puffing away.
The wizard was already hot on the gnomes trail. Cursed corrosive in hand. The effects were unpredictable.
