Separated by birth these two
Who have been inseparable since from.
Excited to see each other,
1 become 2, yet still apart of the sum

Then they announced it was a girl,
The mom tired, but couldn't wait to see.
What 9 months of preparing
Had produced finally.

And though this mini me was small
3lbs and 7 oz to be exact.
Her screams could be heard through out the halls
Yes sir, there was no holding back.

The image of Mom and Dad.
This was their very first creation.
She was more amazing and beautiful
Then even in their imaginations.

And as a little time passed,
Pretty soon there came another.
Things will never be the same
After the arrival of her little brother.

The parents begin to grow apart,
I guess as parents often do.
But things got really bad.
And the parents who were 1 now split in to 2.

We're there no signs of this,
Before they created these 2 little people?
Maybe they were just hoping,
Or maybe they were just dreamers.

Hoping that if they just held on,
The bad things would soon subside
But while the children were asleep
The Mom cried alone in silence, releasing pain she tried to hide.

Dreaming of a better tomorrow,
But that tomorrow never came.
The father has hurt her for the last time
The mom sick of suffering in pain.

Now she thought she made it out unscathed,
Thought she was on her way to a better world.
But little did she know the pain she left behind,
Was picked up and carried for life by their little girl!
