“Kawa-saki doesn't exist!” The sword pressed on her back, draining her courage to speak.
“You disrespectful woman, how dare you speak low of our kingdom?” Kitsoke shouted.
Takesi didn't want to hurt her even when she spoke those ill words. He wanted to protect her.
She gasped in pain and fear.
“No..no..where am I?” Her voice sank abruptly in a panic spasm. Takesi can see the panic and fear in her face. It was real. She was scared and panicked. He signaled for the guards to wait outside.
“Your highness, she could hurt you—-” a swift glare from Takesi compelled every one to filter out of the meeting hall.
“Who are you? What is your name?” Takesi’s voice came out softly and he couldn't believe it himself.
“My name is Asaka.” She didn't want to reply, but something in his eyes, those captivating eyes, held her back. She only wanted to look into those deep brown eyes. They ported magic.
“Where did you come from? How did you enter the palace?” Takesi kneeled in front of her; if anyone saw him on his knees over a girl, his reputation of a brutal monarch would be shattered into shreds.
