I was very terrified to even look up . I tried to keep my eyes on the ground . " I...I....a-aa-mm...sss-ssoo--rr-yy" I hardly managed to say. I didn't hear any response. I was wishing I could run out of their at top speed but my body and mind were no longer cooperating. I was walking very slowly and was shaking like as if I was a banner made of paper fluttering due to wind. I hardly got a little distance away from him. He didn't say or do anything. I didn't look back .  But for sure I he was staring at me . I started to walk a bit fast. I could hear the footsteps behind me. I decided to run. Thank god my legs decided to co-operate this time. I ran as fast as I could . I heard the footsteps again , for sure he was chasing me . I heard him get closer and closer.



I saw a man sitting at a corner of that lane near a shop. I ran towards him as fast as I could  . I thought he would surely help me out.I approached him . I was already panting heavily . " Si--rrr pls help me....the-there i-is so-someone cha-chasing a-aft-after m-me"  I hardly managed to say this between my breaths. I could no longer hear the footsteps. "Who,!? Where!?" I suddenly heard deep ,hoarse and creepy voice asking me. "T-th-there" I pointed towards the back of the lane. But there was no one . Just the dark empty lane. Where did he even go? He was chasing me a few seconds ago. I am sure he was.  " There is no one sweetheart". I felt the stranger rise up from his spot  as he spoke.I turned back to him. And I was scared as hell .
