One of my interviews. I was the last candidate to be interviewed. It was already 8 pm, so can understand how tired the panel must be so was expecting a short one. A panel of two was there.

ME - Good Evening Ma'am.

HR 1 - Ya, Good Evening.

HR 2 - Tell us about yourself and it has to be different. I don’t want that answer which is being taught to you people during Campus Placements Training. We have heard it like 100 times from morning.

I was puzzled a bit, then he again said yes tell us about YOURSELF.

The way he stressed YOURSELF, i was able to hear only that one word “YOURSELF”.

So i came up with this-

Sir YOURSELF is an English word and is used as a Pronoun. It is used to refer to the person being addressed as the object of a verb or preposition when they are also the subject of the clause. Plus it has 8 letters out of which 5 are consonants and 3 are vowels.

As i finished they were staring at me and then at each other and I was like screwd up.

A second later all i could hear is a burst of laughter. And i had no clue what they were laughing on - MY STUPIDITY or MY INTELLIGENCE.

HR 1 - Good one.

ME - ( sigh of relief).

No interview was not over it went on for few more minutes and it was good
