Kavik yawned, he had just dispersed from his pack, tired and alone, he had no were to go. His black and grey fur was ruffled, he had hunted to boost his skills hours before, but now he was hungry. Dragging a carcass behind him, he was even more weighed down. He finally stopped, coyotes had been following for hours, and he didn't want to risk leading them into enemy territory. He approached a territory scented of a female, a dispersal. He hid the carcass and sniffed her out, she was laying in the grass, ears perked.
